Tech Magic with Digital for Good 2020

GEM was one of 12 charities that benefitted from this year’s DFG Tech Jam hosted by Capital One Canada and Hackworks. Over the weekend, the incredible GEM tech team built a solution that will effectively streamline administration of the program – specifically the vital Mentor/Mentee matching process – so we can continue to grow our reach and impact.

But that wasn’t all. GEM staff learned from dynamic tech talks, participated in mindfulness exercises led by The Quiet Company, and were inspired by motivational wisdom from the team at Capital One. To cap off the weekend, CapitalOne announced they would make an additional generous donation to each participating charity!
