Announcing GEM’s 2022 Scholarship Program!

GEM is growing!

With thanks to our donors and funders, we’re excited to announce that GEM will be awarding over $130,000 in scholarships to 50 GEM mentees this May!

‍GEM Scholarships range from $1,000 to $5,000 and will be awarded to GEM mentees who have displayed exceptional initiative and demonstrated need.

GEM scholarships are generously sponsored by GEM donors and funders, and aim to assist mentees in their educational goals and endeavours.

Haleema A. received last years’s top scholarship, sponsored by Partum Consulting! Upon receiving this generous scholarship, Haleema shared: 

“I am honoured to be the recipient of GEM’s Top Scholarship sponsored by Partum Consulting. This scholarship replaces a working shift at Walmart with a volunteer shift at the vaccine clinic, and replaces stressing over textbook costs with mentoring other premeds. Thanks to the generous support of your company and my university, I will be able to pursue my Biomedical Sciences degree debt-free!”
