A Message from GEM’s Executive Director

Dear GEM community:

Our hearts have been heavy this past week as many among us seek to have their voices heard for justice and life. 

Our work at GEM is driven by our core values stemming from social justice. That all individuals should have the opportunity to succeed despite where they’ve come from or what barriers they’ve faced.

Regardless of our skin colour, race, religion, sexual orientation, gender identification, ability, or our socioeconomic differences, we need to listen to and respect one another, have empathy and care for each other, so that we can be stronger together.

Together we stand for what’s right. Together we’re stronger. It’s time for change.
