GEM and University of Toronto (UofT) Continue Efforts to Reduce Barriers to Post-secondary Education

The University of Toronto (UofT) and GEM will continue to collaborate to support underrepresented students and those with low socio-economic status by covering the cost of their Ontario University Application Centre (OUAC) application.  In addition to covering the cost of their application, UofT will provide additional resources to support GEM students with navigating the university application and admissions process to improve their access to the university.

Other benefits include one-on-one support from a UofT recruitment officer, access to the University of Toronto Advance Planning for Students (UTAPS), and access to additional scholarships and bursaries. Want to know more? Contact GEM’s Mentee Program Lead.
