GEMinar #4 – Getting Your Goals Hosted by RBC

GEMinar #4 ‘Getting Your Goals’ was held on March 7th, 2020 and hosted by RBC. It was a great day of discussion and workshops, with a focus on learning how to navigate interviews with confidence. The session started with a keynote from Ramin Fazel, the regional vice president of the Toronto Downtown RBC office, who spoke about what it means to be resilient through difficult situations and her personal experiences. Following that was a panel discussion on effective interview skills, resumes, and cover letters – one panelist being one of our very own GEM alumna Nabela who now works at RBC. In the afternoon, mentors worked with mentees on activities to solidify their interviewing skills.
